CBD Isolate

I was curious to try this product because I’ve heard that CBD Isolate is one of the most versatile and beneficial compounds available. I have sleep issues and I mix this prodcut into my juice before I go to sleep and it gave me a mellow, relaxing effect that helped me drift off to sleep without the “high” effect that other marijuana products have. A must try for those looking for instant pain relief or a sleep aid without the side effects of THC.

I’ve tried flower, I’ve tried oil. So I decided why not try isolate, as vaping and smoking doesn’t work for me. My first attempt at using the isolate, I decided to make CBD Gummies. Normally in the past I’ve used in the range of 20-25mg of CBD and never really felt much. When I took 50mg of CBD, I actually could feel a very positive reaction. So that is why I opted to buy 2g of isolate in an attempt to make the gummies a bit stronger in their potency.

I found a good recipe for gummies online that apparently is comparable to the HARIBO gummie bear recipe. I did the recipe as instructed and utilized my microwave instead of doing it on the stove. Everything was good until the last 20 sec microwave cycle. When I opened up the door the gummie liquid had risen and spilled over the bowl I was using and was all on the glass plate bottom of the microwave. I poured as much as I could back into the bowl and went about finishing making the gummies.

In total I was hoping to make around 50 gummies with a potency of 39.60mg, based on my poor man’s math. Instead I ended up making over 100 plus gummies. Which is weird because the initial test batch made just over 50 gummies and I mimicked the isolate batch exactly as the test. My only idea is that the 2g of isolate when mixed created the excess larger amount.

That said I just tested one of the gummies and as one could probably guess from reading this review, they are indeed quite potent. I will be making some alterations to the recipes next time, but I will definitely be purchasing more CBD Isolate in the future.
