TL;DR 5/5 research before you buy, it’s a little different. Tell the grower that this stuff is absolutely bomb. This’ll be all over the place because I have so much to say about it. Great for beginners too because it just doesn’t overwhelm, it isn’t scary but gives the full ride of cannabis. Have a look

I wake n bake for this. I had it from a different site but it wasn’t this good, this was grown to like 99% of its full potential. I highly recommend this for depression, pain management, insomnia and appetite or just indica lovers. This is the fastest hitting weed I have ever had, before I even put the bong down I felt it pull a veil of highness over my vision, it was insane, I’ve never felt that before.

A very deserving, 2X+ 1st-place award winning strain because the high is so damn unique and controlled as if it were designed at the tiniest scales. If using for medical purpose this would be my go-to 1000%. If I had cancer or a similar possibly debilitating condition I’d probably buy this and a sleepier indica like Master Kush – one to help emotion & thought and one to help sleep & eating. This is something special but I would honestly grab a smaller amount before you grab a larger to make sure that you like the high; it instantly throws at you a total upliftment and relaxation but without much sleepiness and it’s not all that apparent you’ve been slapped by a cross of 3 hands; it’s not weak, it’s just somehow a low-key rippage that you can’t put your finger on. It nearly feels like I’ve had a few beers instead but without the loss of motor control, things in my vision look more fluid and I’m slowed but not even noting those as being apparent, I had to pay attention to notice. This ups your mood and suggests that today’ll be a good day. I usually don’t eat breakfast or lunch but it’s 11:45am and I’m hunnnnngrrrryyyyy.

Why a difference of a whole 1 point? You might not like it; I dig it a fuckin’ lot because it’ll last a long time and the upliftment is the most obvious thing, I can feel it swiftly jump to each part of my mind, keeping negatives out but never changing a thought all while being uncaring of it; it warps to a positive perspective as a whole and so all thoughts change accordingly. I kind of feel like an indestructible cyborg that can’t react to negative human things and it’s like a linear, flat ride of “stoned+happy”. Emotional problems? Smoke this. If a “euphoric” effect is more of a narcotic feeling where you’re not quite yourself, Mataro keeps you being yourself and the feeling is much more a natural upliftment; it’s not feeling like I took an eccentric drug, it feels like I drank some cough syrup non-recreationally (rec. is dumb) and have the ensuing effects, though non-hallucinogenic the feeling of being free’d with relief is present. The high profile is so exact you’ll need to read this thrice to understand that this stuff is literally “oddly relaxing and uplifting” from being of a known “moderate high”, however it’s obvious to me that it’s simply potent in certain other ways that you usually aren’t used to – pure, pure, pure indica ways. *The upliftment and focus is intense*… how often do you see THAT written for a pure indica? Usually you’d see that in an 80% sativa. Like never, I don’t think I have. If you need an obvious visual glow to feel high this is close to a full blown visual glow that lasts for the entire duration and moving your eyes around produces this fluid feeling at the bottom of your eyes like you’ve had a few beers, I like it as it’s all connected to the upliftment.

EFFECT “relaxed, uplifted, sleepy, focused, happy” but switch out sleepy for focused, focused for happy and happy for hungry.

This is what sold me, I live south of Toronto. If it won an award than we ought to try it. I don’t know what I was expecting but not something this good & unique. I thought it’d be a normal indica.

Literally this. Notice it says “slaps” yet uses the word “moderate”. How is a slap in the face moderate? The high is “moderate” in abruptness yet felt in the face, head and body. I rarely have a strain that does this to me, one that completely re-evaluates the effects weed can have… and again it’s the fastest hitting strain I’ve ever felt. This is all some other dimensional reality shit I didn’t think was possible, that’s why it has won awards.

GENETICS

Pretty sure it’s from BC, however, “Based in Granada, Kannabia Seeds were one of the first cannabis seed companies in Spain.” Spain, you say?!

I know what you’re thinking; who the hell was allowed to name it Mazar I Sharif and what does that even mean [is the | a digit?] and why have I never seen those three individual strains?! My guess is because this now exists. Why didn’t they call it something cool like “Black & Blue Mazar Monster”? Who or what is Mataro?

LOOKS

You tell me :). Pretty dense but softer feeling, light-bluey hues with the lightest forest greens, orange hairs like a deep copper. I found the tiniest piece of purple on one bud and none elsewhere. Trichomes on the outside are smaller to medium in thickness, a little larger inside but everywhere thin and very long kief making it look furry. Inside it cakes up with huge crystals, some with very very large dots on the ends. It’s the slightest bit sticky in certain areas but overall not really.

SMELL

Pungent, excellent profile of ‘whispy’ candied berry, seems like citrus undertones rounded off with a creamyness. I think this is my favourite smell so far from WD, it’s not quite unique or interesting it’s just that you *rarely* get to smell citrus+berries so it’s like smelling different strains at the same time, one very fruity and one very tropical and even more. Looking at Leafly I’m not wrong; earth-citrus-berry! These are each smelled in equal amount too. They’ve simplified its description to a “cool cucumber” but even that is correct.

TASTE

Spicy/herbal/earthy and a hint minty/very light minty-like.

BURN

Extreme smoothness like a quad… smoothest hitting weed I’ve had from WD yet actually. I smoke big bowls and just can’t get myself to cough more than a “heh” to clear my throat.
