Master Kush

This saddens me. Not very good for $135 or just not very good? I’m expecting this stuff to blow my mind again. The last time I had it, it was sort-of like this (didn’t look quite as nice) but the high was quad-quality, very strong, same price. Their pics have been spot on for over a year so I’ll post an oz pic when I get mine to compare. The one pic is a bit bright. Looking for leaf in the pic I can see a few but not too many, I can tell most of the buds will have them but it won’t be a bad smoke e.g. they’ll still be covered in kief. The last grow at $125ish was amazing and it seems like whenever they get a cheaper quality their growers will make necessary changes afterwards to make a better next-time quality, however, now it seems like Master Kush is a little tougher go grow than other plants (I heard indica’s usually are more finicky). I will disagree with it being AA just by looking at the pic, you can see its trichome production is note-worthy, not AA.

Shit I have to agree with its grow quality but man is it ever a heavy bake, do you agree? It feels and looks like almost-not AAA but I would call it AAA because I’ve seen that even-worse AA lol, even used to buy it, it’s not that there’s too many leaves or smokes badly, it just feels as a whole she wasn’t grown the best, it’s soft and not dense etc, it feels weak and grassy. It doesn’t look like AA, though, there’s quite a difference there, mostly when busted out. There’s trichomes all over it but they’re between tiny and small but there is a bit of dusting in areas like nearing the top of buds. When you grind up AA it will look incredibly leafy, it will smoke way too white/thick, that’s throw-up toking. This ground up looks like it’s 1/4 what AA looks like, spotting some here n there leafy shapely-ness but it’s not bad. At $135 it’s a great price, I just wish it had more of a cerebral because then it’d be a really fun high and not so much an only-medicinal very-indica type.

Thank you. In Ontario people usually wouldn’t ever get free weed but we do always have good stuff no matter what (from BC no less). I did find this smoke tasty-ish, just the wrong profile for me. What’s Pacific’s taste like? More woody? I’m only 31 and can smoke heavily, it smoked alright for me after a few hits in a bong, I imagine from joints it’d be unnoticeable. After 3 tester bowls of the Master I was ripped for like 3.5+ hours. This is something I’d like to heat press into rosin. I checked out Pacific, holy hell do they have a lot of strains, I wonder how long they’ve been up. A lot of them I’ve never heard of, though, WD seems to aim for a small selection of big name strains while Pacific has that and many others. Looking at their site, they have an entirely different business model and a bigger range between qualities ($130-$180-$240-$280-yikes). Their grading system is different than WD where they don’t use plus signs, WD’s AAA would be their AA and so on, Pacific uses 6-grades and WD uses 7ish, just a difference of scale. It seems like towards the higher quality you go on WD the better value it gets (usually maxing out a little over $200) and the cheaper you go on Pacific the better value you could find. They almost look like the same buds from the same grower from the pic, tad leafy and in the same spots, I wonder if there’s a big grow house where it all comes from or if it’s more individualized. I also often wonder if literally each site is actually all connected through a bigger business because the way people “get rich” is by playing all the hands/cards/bets possible. You make a business, automate it, sell it, start another but completely different one that does the exact same thing and suddenly you are your own competition, you suddenly have large market sway out of “nothing” but owning many monopoly pieces. Seeing as how each of these sites vary greatly it makes me think they’re designed to be that way. While Pacifics’ AA is only $130 and looks comparably the same quality (if not better, you can’t tell from pics) they’re all $130 and their AAA is all $180, their AAAA is all $240, AAAA+ is all $280. The only thing I don’t like is there’s no similar-pricing “range” between similar qualities (makes sense, though) and $200 is my stopping point so I’d be stuck at AAA (which isn’t bad looking at it). And no I wouldn’t call this dank hahaha, that seems to have a different meaning to many, even I would consider that dank = wetness. If you look up the actual definition “disagreeably damp, musty, and typically cold.” LOL. Curation too – the core isn’t quite as curated, it feels cold, it could have been more dense/less weighted. I think it was purposefully not curated past this point so it wouldn’t become crunch given there’s a lack of density throughout. My mother told me this year “all the guy’s I grew up with who grew pot, they moved out west to BC, mostly Surrey and around Victoria and now they’re all rich.” Weed nerds lol. A local college offers a 4-year bachelors degree on this shit and only 1/10th of it has to do with actual weed.
