Not a review at all – just saying that Master Kush from here was absolutely the most potent indica-high I’ve ever experienced, sadly it sold out after I tried the sample and I’ve been itching to buy an oz since. GSC is an extremely relaxing high that’s catered to depression. Smushed together I cannot believe someone did this and I cannot wait to try it, it’s like someone picked their two favourite strains and just went for it. We need more of that.

I tried this strain for the first time and it is a great daytime smoke! For regular users who medicate during the day, it is a great one you can start your day with and it that will not leave you feeling tired midway throughout your day. It helps keep me focused throughout my work day and also helps with my creativity when I want to write or have other things to create.
The buds are condensed and bids out nice and quickly. It smells earthy and citrusy and tastes woodsy and yet citrysy as well. The tastes changes throughout the joint and although I do recommend this for a wake and bake I think a beverage is necessary when consuming it as there were times where I did not like the taste. I love trying new to me sativa strains as I am a regular smoker who medicates daily to help with my adhd and this strain has worked great while I had it.

Got an oz.
OVERALL 4.65/5
GENETICS————————————————————————————————–
Master Kush (90% indica) X Girl Scout Cookies (60% sativa). GSC is extremely hard to grow well. Master Kush grows easily. Listed as both a 75% and 60% sativa from differing sources. I thought it was a 70% indica, nope. So they smashed an extremely potent 90% Kush together with a cerebrally-pleasing 60% sativa GSC and somehow landed at 60%-75% sativa-sided with Scout Master. I think it feels like a 75% sativa. I assumed Master Kush would’ve pulled GSC down and overtaken it to the indica side but that didn’t happen. Instead GSC was taken for a mean Kush ride, it took a road trip further down south of Cali and got kushified in its cerebral and overall effects from GSC, like going to Jamaica and coming back with dreads. It got my gf very stoned, she liked it a lot.
EFFECTS—————————————————————————————————
A bit lost without that Leafly chart, yeah? Zombie creeper. I do not feel at all heavier, it does indeed feel very sativa-like. It feels energizing and in the same way that GSC has this swaying body/bubbly-visual euphoria…. yeah, it kinda goes there too. It definitely leaned to the GSC side. This cerebral is more blitzing than its GSC cousin. There isn’t much info on this, not even a peep on Leafly. It feels happy and focusing. I feel “zapped” too, though. Not overly bodily stoned but a little. I feel a little spacey but not with too much euphoria, if anything there’s a euphoric visual but not cerebrally euphoric. Happy but not quite uplifting. I think I can actually feel the high in my mind buzzing around. I had 3 bowls. It lasted awhile, gave me a tiny bit of paranoia while driving. We both felt spaced out.
Found on StrainRx:
“Scout Master is great for daytime use, either alone or in the company of others. Its effects will elevate the mood and bring on a mental jolt, simultaneously melting away feelings of stress, anxiety and depression. At lower doses, a mild body buzz is also conducive to helping users relax, but with zero risk of melting into one’s couch. Scout Master energizes, helps with focus, and gives a creative boost to those seeking to remain productive, while it is also fun to enjoy while engaged in activities like hiking, or watching movies. Its medical uses include pain relief, help with nausea, ADD/ADHD, and appetite stimulation.
At higher doses, Scout Master can become visually stimulating and induce spaciness, disorientation and anxiety, make one’s limbs feel heavier and turn into a sedative of sorts. However, it can also assist with handling more severe pain types (i.e. nerve pain).”
Pretty much this. Compare my description to this.
SMELL————————————————————————————————–
Fun, light and candied berry-pine-sweet with a hint of citrus. My girlfriend noted berry firstly, I didn’t but afterwards realised I’ve missed it, then rounded off with a sugary cookie-doughy creaminess. There’s something about it all that makes it one of my favourite overall smells from weed ever. Great exhale taste of an almost-sweet pine and earthy-berry.
LOOKS————————————————————————————————-
Pretty leafy on some buds around the outside, sadly that keeps it from being a quad. Big ol’ fat dense buds. Despite the leaf smokeability is incredibly high so there’s that; guessing leaf doesn’t necessarily cause coughing, in some strains it certainly does but this is very restrained, a big lung holds easily – “When it is combusted, Scout Master is soft enough for even the most sensitive smokers to toke on without coughing.” Found that on strainRx. Note the crazily-dark almost deep red hairs.

“Despite the leaf smokeability is incredibly high so there’s that”
True, these genetics even play a noted role in keeping the coughing down but since it’s leafy when it gets dry it will turn the smoke creamy, dense and rough.
I’m kind of sad here. If any strain has so far had big up’s and big down’s it’s this. This strain is wicked in both potency and its smell is like diesel-pine-earth-lemons, smelling nearly like Strawberry Diesel which was hands down the waftiest shit ever from here but it’s just two notches down on nose-potency. I’ll both rip on and praise this because it’s sitting there holding an excellent high in one hand and leaves in the other. It’s not worth $165, I’d pay max $140 and when perfected $200. It’s a killer strain that nearly grew perfectly, a very potent 1-bowler that turned out too-leafly for my liking. Trimming it to perfection would’ve taken too long. Should you buy it? For joints all day but not for bongs, I think only then you wouldn’t have big enough tokes to notice any difference. The high is worth $165+, the smokeability is worth $125 because leaf. I think it was a first-batch and the next will have its day, growing to perfection after the kinks are worked out (and they totally know what they’re doing; they’ll research and make necessary changes). I hope the grower gives this a second run because the high is incredible, probably agree’d solidly on that. Smaller to medium tokes with bongs people, in doing so you won’t or will barely cough, it’s odd that there’s this point you push past with the smoke production and your lungs will nope but not until that point. The leaf makes the smoke creamy in a big big bong hit. It could have been trimmed better by taking a bud and using an “O” shape in your hand to bend each arm down, however, it was trimmed. Too many leaf branches took over to get them all down to their root stalk. First bowl of the day wasn’t so bad but I did note all that and coughed a bunch (leaf-cough), yet the second bowl was much easier as I just hooted it in 3rd’s; no cough. Totally freaking blitzed from that 1 bowl, though. I wasn’t sure on its potency until now; wake n baked. A complete “stone” from a 75% sativa is rare. I’m only saying this because I’m damn sure that we’ll be seeing it again in a quad quality. Scout Master is one to stick around – Master Kush takes GSC’s wimpier overall, relaxing and mellow high and boots it in the ass Kush style, making it even more a sativa yet providing indica properties cerebrally.
I suggest a back crossing through Master Kush once more – push it more to the indica side and it’d be award-winning or something.

This is the first time I try this strain and I loved it. It is so great for daytime! I medicate daily with cannabis for adhd and anixety and Scout Master really helps me focus on the task at hand. I love trying new sativas and I am very happy to have tried this one. Not only can I focus better but also gives me creativity and is a great strain to use before writing or creating other things. The buds are gorgeous and condensed that bid out nice and quickly. don’t find it has the best taste so I like to smoke it with a cup of coffee or water, which sadly I don’t have now. It’s the first time I try this and I’m happy I did!
This will be added to my list of sativas that I will regularly get although I do not like the taste that much I do love the effects, it is perfect for waking and baking.

This strain has been a favourite of mine for years and when I saw Weed-Deals carry it, it’s become a favourite in my strain book again. The smell is earthy with hints of lemon. The effects are those of a classic Sativa without the added paranoia which makes it a great daytime strain!
